Bahasa Indonesia: RailClinic adalah salah satu fasilitas klinik berjalan milik PT. Kereta Api Indonesia ( Persero ). Fungsi dari kereta RailClinic biasanya untuk kegiatan Bhakti Sosial kepada masyarakat dengan mengadakan sosialisasi kesehatan secara gratis di stasiun tertentu yang telah ditetapkan. Bisa juga untuk tugas-tugas kemanusiaan seperti mengantar bantuan bencana ke daerah yang dekat dengan rel kereta namun terisolasi dari jalan raya dan sebagainya. Ada 4 rangkaian RailClinic yang dibuat dan tersebar di Sumatera sebanyak 3 trainset yaitu 1 trainset di Sumatera Utara dan 2 trainset di Sumatera Selatan dengan formasi 1 trainsetnya terdiri dari 2 kereta diesel yang bergandengan serta di Pulau Jawa sebanyak 1 trainset. 1 trainset di Jawa memiliki sedikit perbedaan dengan yang ada di Sumatera, jika di Sumatera hanya murni klinik berjalan, maka di Jawa ada tambahan kereta perpustakaan di rangkaiannya bernama RailLibrary sehingga dalam 1 trainset cukup panjang yaitu 5 kereta. RailClinic dibuat dari modifikasi kereta diesel lama yang sudah tidak beroperasi lagi untuk melayani penumpang dan dikerjakan oleh teknisi Balai Yasa Yogyakarta. |
