Notes
  • Significance: Historically the monumental Beaux Arts Structure has always served as Yakima Main Post Office and Federal Courthouse. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service also have been housed throughout the years in this historic structure. / The carefully detailed Beaux Arts monumentality makes a major contribution to the diversity of Architecture in Yakima, especially as it relates to a balance of styles with the adjacent Historic Register Structure - The Capitol Theatre. The main 1st floor lobby and corridors on all three floors are significant for their monumental quality and detailing.
