Description

Avioneta PZL-Mielec M-18B Dromader (EC-EVH, cn 1Z020-10), de fabricación polaca, sobrevolando Monforte de Lemos (Lugo). El avión de la foto fue construido en 1989 y ha trabajado en vuelos de fumigación y extinción de incendios en varias provincias españolas, primero con Baquero Servicios Aéreos SA y actualmente con Trabajos Aéreos Martínez Ridao (con base en Utrera, Sevilla). El 9 de septiembre de 1999 sufrió accidente debido a un cambio repentino del viento cuando fumigaba una plantación de naranjos en Sollana (Valencia). El piloto salió ileso, pero el aparato sufrió daños de importancia en el tren de aterrizaje, las alas, el empenaje de cola, la hélice, el motor y el equipo agrícola.

The plane of the photo was built in 1989 and has worked in flight spraying and fire fighting in several Spanish provinces, first with Baquero Air Services SA and currently with Martínez Ridao Aerial Works (based in Utrera, Seville). On September 9th 1999 it suffered an accident due to a sudden change of wind when fumigated in an orange grove in Sollana (Valencia). The pilot was unhurt, but the unit suffered significant damage in the landing gear, wings, tail assembly, propeller, engine and farm equipment.
