Description
English: Here we see, on the left, left-handed (S-twist) bine Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. ex Murray var. hypoleucum 台灣何首烏. And on the right is right-handed (Z-twist) 1. Chinese yam 山藥, Dioscorea polystachya, and 2. Mikania micrantha 小花蔓澤蘭 (hairy). They are all climbing up two limbs of tree Prunus campanulata 山櫻花. Taken in garden surrounding home in central Taiwan hills. See also File:Helix diagram-de.png.
