Die Blasenkammer war mit Wasserstoff gefüllt. Es wurden also hauptsächlich Ereignisse der Art ${\displaystyle \gamma +p\rightarrow \ldots }$ beobachtet. Hier ein Ausschnitt, der offensichtlich Paarbildung am Wasserstoffkern zeigt. Die Bestimmung des Ladungsvorzeichens erfolgte mittels delta-Elektronen.
