Description
English: Built in 1952, this Collegiate Gothic Revival-style building was designed by Philip L. Small, Inc. to serve as part of a campus built for the Jesuit-affiliated John Carroll University in suburban University Heights. The building features a red brick facade with a side-gable slate roof with front gables and hipped dormers, four-over-four windows, a two-story front entrance bay with a crenellated parapet, limestone trim, a front entrance door with a gothic arched transom, and a rear wing with a low-slope roof. The building is a contributing structure in the John Carroll University North Quad Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
