Description
Português: O palacete do conde de Itamaraty foi projetado em meados do século XIX por José Maria Jacinto Rabelo, arquiteto responsável pelo término das obras do palácio Itamarati, na rua Marechal Floriano.
  • Situado em Alto da Boa Vista área de proteção paisagística, próxima à Floresta da Tijuca, estado brasileiro do Rio de Janeiro. A edificação foi implantada próxima da rua em terreno delimitado por muro baixo de cantaria com gradil de ferro.
  • O palacete neoclássico, com fachadas simétricas e vocabulário neoclássico, é uma singela miniatura campestre das grandes composições urbanas apalacetadas da época de d. Pedro II. O apainelamento do corpo central reflete a modulação da solução em planta. A ornamentação clássica com pilares jônicos, cunhais em cantaria e entablamento foi combinada a guarda-corpos de ferro forjado e figuras de louça nas prumadas dos pilares. Fonte: Portal do INEPAC
