Description
Pamětní deska uvádí jmenovitě dva významné ilegální pracovníky z okruhu Tří králů: štábního kapitána Václava Morávka (* 1904 - 1942) a radiotelegrafistu Františka Peltána (* 1913 - 1942). Dne 28.
English: A bronze memorial plaque on the building in Prague 4 Nusle (Horní 1466/10, 140 00 Praha 4 - Nusle) points out that in this building (in the apartment of Marie and František Mandík) (since the beginning of occupation) were hiding illegal resistance fighters. Representatives of illegal Organisations: Defending the Nation (ON) and ÚVOD worked here and they held several meetings here. For example here petered General Bedřich Homola or Colonel Josef Churavý. The memorial plaque mentions two significant illegal workers from the circle of the "Three Kings": Staff Captain Václav Morávek (* 1904 - 1942) and the radio operator František Peltán (* 1913 - 1942). On 28 June 1941 Peltán's illegal radio SPARTA II has been focused during transmitting from the flat of spouses František and Marie Mandíks. František Peltán spiritedly escaped arrest by the Gestapo in disguise for railroaders, but both husband and wife were arrested. František Mandík was for resistance activities on October 3, 1941 executed.
