Deutsch: Im März war Felix Fuchs, Doktorand am DLR-Institut für Luft- und Raumfahrtmedizin, mit einem Forscherteam in der Atacama-Wüste in Chile unterwegs. Dort führte er mikrobielle Versuche anhand von Bodenproben durch. Die Expedition in die Atacama-Wüste wurde von Wissenschaftlern der Leibniz Universität in Hannover geleitet. Mit den gesammelten Ergebnissen der Expedition können ökologische Zusammenhänge von Leben unter extremen Umwelteinflüssen analysiert und bewertet werden.
