Summary edit

Description

Here we look south-east along the lower Kidron valley, from the "eastern hill" (the "City of David") across to the southern section of the mount of Olives. This section, a less affluent Palestinian area of Jerusalem, is known as Silwan Village. The cramped houses cling to the steep slopes of the ridge, stacked one on top of the other, much as the houses would have clung to the eastern hill's slopes in the time of Hezekiah.

English: Kidron Valley.
