Description
Italiano: Roma 22 febbraio 1939 - Roma 24 giugno 2014. Pittore espressionista, ritrattista, restauratore, liutaio, dipinge soggetti inventati, usa tecniche olio su tela, tempera, pastello. Dipinge dal 1973 - 1974 la Pietra Blu, raffigurante una grande pietra centrale di colore blu, sintetizza il percorso di tutti in una pietra da superare, il peso dell’esistenza, dipinge anche altri soggetti, Sogni di Primavera d’Alta Montagna olio su tela 1974 e d’Estate 1975, le tele Alberi Blu 1973 al 2011. Seguirono altri dipinti con la stessa intensità espressiva, la Montagna Gialla 1991, una serie intitolata Fronde Rosse, Settembre 1980, Fronde Rosse 1993, 1994, Bosco su Fronde Rosse 1999, numerosi paesaggi inventati, marine, ritratti. Il 13 dicembre 2005, è riconosciuto Cittadino Illustre per meriti artistici, delibera 1103. Il 27 dicembre 2012 su proposta della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri è insignito del grado di Cavaliere O.M.R.I.
