Català: L'església parroquial de Sant Joan de Calvià fou bastida sobre l'antiga església, esbucada el 1867. Aquest mateix any començaren les obres, que s'aturaren un any més tard però es reprengueren el 1890. És d'estil historicista i és un projecte de Bartomeu Ferrà, executat per Mestre Lliset, mestre d'obres, mentre que la decoració escultòrica és de Sebastià Alcover Garcies. Informació extreta del catàleg de patrimoni de l'ajuntament. |
