Description
English: Upload Wizard photos of -- (general description of landmarks, town, church) - the Pasig Cathedral[1] formally known as the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church located at Plaza Rizal in Barangay Malinao, Pasig City in the Philippines. It is the cathedral or seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pasig[2], belonging to the Vicariate of the Immaculate Conception. It was established as a mission-parish by the Augustinian missionaries on July 2, 1573, coinciding the foundation of the town of Pasig (now, Pasig City. The former Immaculate Conception Parish was administered by the CICM Fathers from 1910 to 1979, after which the Filipino clergy took over the pastoral leadership of the parish. Until 2003, the parish was a part of the Archdiocese of Manila. On August 21, 2003, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pasig was inaugurated, with the elevation of the parish into the status of a cathedral. The present rector of the cathedral is the Very Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon, Vicar General of the Diocese of Pasig along the b) Pasig City Proper, Circle near the Museum of Pasig and Park towards the c) Pasig River and bridge [3] and d) the New Plaridel-Pulilan Bridge [4] Length: 37.50 meters Classification: Concrete Coordinates: 14°53'31"N 120°52'27"E, rehabilitated and closed until its inauguration and opening on September 23, Monday, 2013 - this bridge, connect Barangays Parulan, Plaridel, Bulacan [5] and Santo Cristo, Pulilan, Bulacan [6] with the Angat River [7] cutting its way through the eastern edge of Baliuag, and the southern fringes of Pulilan down to the tributary of Manila Bay southwest of Calumpit, serves as the boundary with Plaridel. Its feature is flat and the soil is suited to farming.
