A tendrillar twiner ofeten found in waste places in India. leaves alternate, 3-lobed, Flowers solitary, hermaphrodite, perianth 5+5;corona in several rows of numerous filiform segments, with membranous folds lower down and a shalloww cup surrounding the gynandrophore.stamens 5, from gynandrophore,ovary 1 celled, styles 3.Berries 1.5-2.5 cm across, globose, subtended by persistent glandular involucre.
