English: Pasture on the Floodplain The deeply-glaciated Conwy Valley is filled with glacial and alluvial deposits which make a modern flat floor, across which the river meanders. It is very prone to flooding in winter as there are no embankments in this area. The river passes obliquely beneath the power lines in the distance. |
