| Description |
English: Pastures, Hambleden On high ground to the west of the Hambleden valley. This is towards the west of the parish, which is a large entity, stretching from the Oxfordshire boundary above Stonor in the west to Chisbridge Cross above Marlow in the east. The southern boundary is formed by the Thames. The village of Fingest is at its northern end. It also contains the villages of Frieth, Mill End and Skirmett and several hamlets. The 1600 acre Hambleden Estate was owned from 1936 to 2007 by the W H Smith family. |
