Pavlof (2,519-m [8,264 ft]-high, right) and Pavlof Sister (2,143-m [7,031 ft]-high, left) are a pair of symmetrical stratovolcanoes on the Alaska Peninsula. Pavlof Volcano is one of the most active of Alaska's volcanoes with nearly 40 historical eruptions. View is to the northwest.
