Summary edit

Description
English: Peat stacks The cut peat is loosely stacked in what we called "castles"in order to let them dry in the wind.In this case the peat is raised off the ground on wooden pallets to aid drying. As children we had to go to the "moss" to assist in stacking of the peat (next year's fuel). It was always fun at first but soon became boring not to mention back-breaking.
