English: Penn Golf Course, Staffordshire The view is across the edge of Penn Common towards Gospel End. The commoners gave up the common in 1892 and it was developed into what is now a very attractively landscaped golf course. The small stream entering from the left flows down into Penn Brook, which eventually becomes Wom Brook which flows into Smestow Brook (and so on!) |
