Deutsch: Vorderseite: Kopf des bärtigen Herakles nach r. Er trägt den Löwenfellumhang, dessen Pfoten um seinen Hals geknotet sind.

Rückseite: ΜΑΛ. Kopf eines bärtigen Satrapen mit Baschlik (kyrbasia) nach r. Die Schleife vorne kennzeichnet ihn als Keranos (Admiral des Großkönigs).

Kommentar: Die meisten Bilder regionaler persischer Machthaber entstanden in Kilikien, das auf keine eigene vorachämenidische Münztradition zurückblicken konnte. Schon durch seine geographische Lage war es, wie auch die Levante, stärker von persischer Religion und Kunst beeinflusst. Die städtische Silberprägung muss zumindest zeitweilig unter zentraler Kontrolle der Satrapen gestanden haben. Anders sind die in mehreren Städten gleichzeitig ausgegebenen Münzbilder nicht zu erklären.
