Summary edit
DescriptionPet Mart Now Closed - geograph.org.uk - 868949.jpg |
English: Pet Mart Now Closed. Saturday saw the last day of trading for this small independent pet shop.
For a while it looked set to resist the onslaught from Tesco (see 599982), but as the notices in the window now explain it was the landlord who was refusing to sell. Upon his death a couple of months ago his beneficiaries promptly sold the land to the supermarket giant. The building is to be demolished very soon now. |
