Bahasa Indonesia: Ditengah maraknya peralatan pertanian modern yang kekinian, sebagian petani masih bertahan dengan cara lama untuk mengusir hama burung menjelang panen. Seperti yang dilakukan Suparman (52), seorang petani di Desa Walahar, Karawang, Jawa Barat ini mengusir burung yang memangsa bulir padi jelang panen, dengan membunyikan kentongan dari bambu.
English: In the midst of the rise of modern modern agricultural equipment, some farmers still stick to the old way to repel bird pests before harvest. As Suparman (52), a farmer in Walahar Village, Karawang, West Java did, repel birds that prey on rice grains before harvest, by sounding a bamboo gong.
