| Description |
English: Petty Officer RG James RN in plot P14. During this visit an elderly man arrived in the cemetery and asked for help to find plot P14. I found the plot and he told me RG James was his pal who was killed accidentally when an aircraft engine he was working on rolled off its support and crushed his pal. This was his first visit to Orkney since 1944. RG James lived in Handbridge, Cheshire and was only 20 years old when he died. |
