Deutsch: Pfefferquelle, mächtig schüttende Karstquelle in Königsbronn, Schwäbische Alb. Die stauenden, fluviatilen Sedimente einer Ur-Brenz zwingen die Wasser eines tiefen Karsts auf beiden Talseiten zum Aufsteigen. Die Quelle auf der gegenüberliegenden Westseite ist der Brenztopf.
Die Quellen liegen auf der danubischen Seite der unmittelbar nördlich verlaufenden Europäischen Hauptwasserscheide. English: Pfefferquelle, Karst spring in Königsbronn, Swabian Alb. The thick clayish floodplain of a huge prehistoric river Ur-Brenz dams up karstic drainages on either side, thus building up two springs - the one on the opposite side of the valley being the Brenztopf. These springs directly border to the European Watershed on the danubian side. |
