Thisbuilding is on Cherry, aboveEighth, and is one of the manyhandsome manufactories whichadorn the heart of the city.This firm has also a handsomestore on Chestnut Street, below-Broad. At the corner of Fifth andCherry Streets is the large andimposing factory of W. H. Horst-mann & Sons, of which a view ispresented. Established in 1815,this concern has for years beenthe most extensive manufacturersof military and society goods,dress and upholstery trimmings,etc., in this country.
