O Picadeiro D’el Rey localiza-se no Baluarte de Nossa Senhora das Brotas, sita na Vila de Almeida, é composto pelas Cavalariças com acomodações para 21 cavalos (17 Baias e 4 Boxes) e respectivas zonas de trabalho, lavagem e tratamento, por zonas de serviço, zonas de recepção e acolhimento e zona lúdica, zona de volteio, picadeiro coberto, picadeiro aberto e complemento urba_ nístico. Dispõe de excelentes profissionais para a prática da equitação, desde o trabalho de cavalos, às aulas do nível mais iniciado ao mais avançado.
