Les pierres tombales mennonites de la vallée de la Bruche avaient une forme particulière : la partie supérieure était pourvue d’un resserrement ou « cou », qui s’évasait ensuite vers le haut, qui se trouvait orné d’un cœur élargi ou d’une rosace-étoile.
