Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_62481_IMG_20200217_175301---.jpg Notes: עזרא אוריון הקים בראש גבעה, מול מפעלי ים המלח, ב1990, אובליסק פלדה בגובה 25 מטר, לרגליו פזורים 230 אדני רכבת משנת 1904. עזרא נולד ב-1934 בקיבוץ בית אלפא, וגדל ברמת יוחנן. ב-1950 למד ב'בצלאל', בירושלים. שירת בצה"ל כסגן מפקד יחידת הסיור של חטיבת גולני. במילואים היה מפקד הסיירת של חטיבת אלכסנדרוני ומג"ד. בשנים 1966-1964 למד בלונדון. ב1967 הצטרף אל מייסדי מדרשת בן-גוריון, שם ניהל את בית ספר השדה. לימד ב'בצלאל' וב'מכללה לאומנות חזותית' בבאר-שבע. נפטר ב 2015 ונקבר במדרשת שדה בוקר.
