Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_63488_IMG_20191222_154043.jpg Notes: הכתובת על השלט חלק סיפורו של מגדל המים מגדל המים נבנה בין השנים 1933-1936 על-מנת לספק מים למגורים ולחקלאות עבור המתיישבים הראשונים שהגיעו לכפר. בנוסף ליעודו העיקרי שימש המגדל גם למטרות אחרות לפני קום המדינה נערכו קורסים של הquotהגנהquot בquotבית הראשוניםquot � quotהבית הגדולquot. אנשיהם התאמנו בקפיצות קרביות מהקומה הראשונה ובגלישת אומגה מגג המגדל לחצרות הסמוכות. בתקופת מחמת העצמאות אומנו בני הנוער של המושב בשימוש בזרקור לאיתות מורס בלילה ובדגלים במהלך היום על-מנת לשגר אותו אזהרה ליישובי הסביבה בשעת חרום.
