Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_67649_חולדה - מגדל המים 1.jpg Notes: ב1905 נרכשו אדמות חולדה עquotי קקquotל. במקום הוקמה חוות חולדה ונבנה 39בית הרצל39 למגורי מנהל החווה והפועלים. ב1931 התיישבה במקום קבוצת 39גורדוניה א3939 שאנשיה עלו לישראל מגליציה מפולין ומליטא וקיבלו הכשרה בחדרה. הקימו את קבוצת גורדוניה חולדה והחלו בשיקום האזור. ב1937 החלה בניית מבני הקבע על גבעה סמוכה. במלחמת העצמאות הייתה חולדה הנקודה המזרחית ביותר שהיה לה קשר גאוגרפי ישיר עם היישוב. יצאו ממנה שיירות וכוחות לירושלים. המקום הותקף במטוסים כ-8 ימים. חולדה הייתה הקצה המערבי של quotדרך בורמהquot. מויקיפדיה
