English: Pillbox on the beach at Porlock Weir There are two pillboxes on the beach at Porlock Weir. Rather than the usual concrete construction these are faced with large pebbles - either because of the abundance of this material on the spot or in order to camouflage the boxes. This one is subsiding badly due to erosion of the beach. |
