English: Four U.S. Naval aviators of the so-called "Nugget Division" of Fighter Squadron 24 (VF-24) "Corsairs" aboard the aircraft carrier USS Essex (CVA-9). VF-24 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 2 (CVG-2) aboard the Essex for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 4 November 1954 to 21 June 1955. The officers are (l-r): Lt.JG J.A. Dickson, Lt.JG A.G.B. Grosvenor, LtCdr. W.L. Adams and Lt.JG L.J. Pearl. |
