Description
An evening dress by Sybil Connolly from c.1956. A dress of pink satin with an overlay of Carrickmacross appliqué lace with butterfly motif and tiny pearls. The first time lace was made in a colour rather than traditional white. Purchased by Enda McMahon from the Richard Alan shop on Grafton St for a ball in 1956.
