English: Pirna: gravestones of Oscar Hirsch (1853-1885) and Gottlob Michael Anton Hirsch (1822-1894), two members of the Hirsch family glassblowers, founder of two glas factorys in Pirna.
Deutsch: Pirna: Blick auf die Grabsteine von Oscar Hirsch (1853-1885) und Gottlob Michael Anton Hirsch (1822-1894) auf dem Friedhof an der Dippoldiswalder Straße. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft befindet auch der Grabstein von Emil Hirsch (1850-1901). Alle drei gehörten zur bekannten Glasmacherfamilie Hirsch. Gottlob Michael Anton Hirsch war bereits an den Gründungen von Glashütten in Radeberg beteiligt, bevor er mit seinen Söhnen Oscar und Emil nach Pirna zog. Hier gründete er 1874 die "Gebr. Hirsch Tafelglashüttenwerke" (benannt nach den beiden Söhnen), welche den Beginn der Entwicklung der Glasindustrie in Pirna markierte. Oscar Hirsch (1853-1885) ist nicht zu verwechseln mit Franz Oscar Hirsch (1846-1914), der ebenfalls der bekannten Glasmacherfamilie entstammte und 1880 die "Franz Oscar Hirsch & Co. Glasfabrik Herrmannhütte" gründete.
