Summary edit

Description
  • English: Wilhelm von Plüschow (1852-1930), A naked boy showing the satyrical weekly "L'asino", which might have lampooned Pluschow himself. "L'Asino" campaigned against homosexuality in 1904-1907. The hat worn by the booy was used in schools to scorn as a "donkey" (Asino, in Italian) a lazy pupil. According with the issue shwn here, this picture was taken in 1906.
Date Rome, between 1904 and 1907.
