Description
English: Stone plaque installed in front of the San Juan vent (Cartagena), which reads:

In the year 1575, with His Majesty Philip II reigning in Spain, this vent was built to ventilate the conduction of the waters from the San Juan spring to Santa Lucía.

At the request of the Neighborhood Association, it was restored by the General Directorate of Roads being Director Don José García León and Mayor of the city Don José Antonio Alonso Conesa.

Español: Placa de piedra instalada frente al respiradero de San Juan (Cartagena), en la que se lee:

En el año de 1575, reinando en España S. M. Felipe II, fue construido este respiradero para ventilación de la conducción de las aguas de San Juan a Santa Lucía.

A instancias de la A. de Vecinos fue restaurado por la D. Gral. de Carreteras siendo Director D. José García León y Alcalde de la ciudad D. José Antonio Alonso Conesa.
