Description
English: This map showing the metropolitan public street transport system of Adelaide as at 28 May 1952 was published (as Appendix D) as part of the Final Report on the Municipal Tramways Trust Adelaide. The report was prepared by a select committee of the South Australian Parliament's House of Assembly, which inquired into the operations of the Trust. It also shows anticipated housing development areas.

The map was a variant (by including future housing developments) of a publicly available map distributed by the Municipal Tramways Trust. The record is in the public domain: the website of State Records of South Australia (https://www.archives.sa.gov.au/content/copyright archive copy at the Wayback Machine) states "Photographs, maps and plans created before 1st May 1969: copyright has expired if made before 1st January 1955."
