Pengamatan dengan menggunakan lup dapat membantu mengetahui waktu pertama terbentuknya kalus, dan membantu melihat kontaminasi pada eksplan tanaman yang mungkin luput dari penglihatan mata telanjang English: The initial formation of callus looks like a small swelling at the edge of the explant or on the part that has been cut. Observation using a loupe can help determine the first time callus forms, and help see contamination in plant explants that may be missed by the eye. |
