In case you are marvelling at the quality of the 1849 brickwork, comparison of the building shown on the picture link above with the image on this webpage http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/articles/DavidClare2/TownCentre.htm, will reveal that the two side appendages, one of which displays the plaque, did not exist before the late 1980s! |
