English: Plaques at the entrance of the field of the common graves where were buried people executed by guillotine during the Reign of Terror in june 1794. Cemetery of Picpus, Paris 12th arr., France. The text of the plaque on the right is : The two common graves contains 1,306 corpses :
  • 197 women : 16 carmelites, 7 other nuns, 51 nobles and 123 commoners
  • 1109 men : 108 churchmen, 108 nobles, 136 magistrates, 178 militaries and 579 commoners
