Description
Nederlands: Plattegrond van Maastricht, eind 19e eeuw. De bebouwing van het Villapark en de Stationsbuurt zijn begonnen, maar nog lang niet voltooid. De Wilhelminasingel kreeg zijn naam in 1892, maar wordt hier nog met de oude benaming "Singel" aangeduid. De tramlijn Station-Boschstraat uit 1896 is niet ingetekend. Anderzijds is de kaart niet up-to-date of loopt op de zaken vooruit: de oude Sint-Maartenskerk in Wyck is hier nog aanwezig, terwijl deze in 1855 gesloopt was; de nieuwe Sint-Martinuskerk was in 1858 voltooid. De bebouwing van de zuidzijde van de Stationsstraat lijkt hier min of meer voltooid, terwijl bijvoorbeeld nr. 1, de villa van Frits Regout op de hoek met de Spoorweglaan, pas omstreeks 1900 werd gebouwd.
