English: Pleated fan. Parchment leaf with pen and ink drawing showing bacchanalian scene of the drunken Silenus, a figure connected with Dionysus and vintage festivals, lying in the company of his retinue. Reverse: strap ornament and drapery in black line with hatching and black border. Incised and pierced ivory sticks with rococo scroll work and mother-of-pearl inlay. Glass stone at rivet.
