Description
English: Plymouth Hoe from Mount Batten One of the yellow ferries that links Mount Batten with the Barbican is seen coming into the landing stage at Mount Batten. Behind is the grey mass of the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club, with the sea bathing terraces of Tinside to the left. Above, brought closer in this telephoto image, is the striped Smeatons Tower on the Hoe, backed by the Victorian and newer buildings of Grand Parade on the skyline.
