The Poison Glen is surrounded by the Derryveagh Mountains as seen in this SE view from the R251 viewpoint. I was told that the largest heard of deer in Ireland dwells in the Poison Glen area and that the deer must be culled occasionally. In an interview per "The Celts" DVD, Enya stated that this viewpoint is one of her favourite places. |
