Description

Watercolour portrait painting of Ruffle, a racoon-shaded sable Pomeranian male dog, owned by Mrs Barnett of Woodstock. The dog, born November 1892 of an unknown breeder and pedigree, won over 60 prizes at dog shows. The dog was sold to an unknown American purchaser in 1901.
