Français : La pompe pneumatique à membranes Tapflo est entrainée par de l’air comprimé. Les deux membranes reliées par un arbre sont poussées et tirées alternativement par un distributeur alimenté par la pression d’air et qui en assure aussi l’échappement.
  • Phase 1 : l'aspiration. Une membrane crée le phénomène d’aspiration lors de son déplacement vers le corps de la pompe.
  • Phase 2 : le refoulement. L’autre membrane transmet simultanémént la pression d’air au liquide dans le corps en le poussant vers l’orifice de refoulement.
English: The Tapflo diaphragm pump is driven by compressed air. The two diaphragms, connected

by a diaphragm shaft, are pushed back and forth by alternately pressurising the air chambers behind the diaphragms using an automatically cycling air valve system.

  • 1 : suction. One diaphragm creates a suction action when being pulled back from the housing.
  • 2 : discharge. The other diaphragm simultaneously transmits the air pressure to the liquid in the housing, pushing it towards the discharge port.
During each cycle the air pressure on the back of the discharging diaphragm is equal to the head pressure on the liquid side.
