English: Pontfaen over Afon Nyfer Clearly an ancient bridge which crosses the infant river Nevern between Eglwyswrw to the NW and Crymuch to the SE. It appears to have two arches separated by a spit of land in the middle: the one shown spans the smaller stream, possibly a mill leat.
Pont faen, the name of the crossroads to the south, simply means stone bridge. |
