Summary edit

Description
English: Port Eliot Port Eliot is the seat of the Earl of St Germans and can be seen here nestling in a dip and partly obscured by trees. Part of this interesting house dates back to the C12th as it incorporates the remains of the former Augustinian Priory of St Germans which was founded in 1180. The house is open to the public from March to June - its website can be found here http://www.porteliot.co.uk/ The house certainly contains an eclectic mix of the old and the new including a huge, recently painted, circular mural which I wouldn't have the temerity to begin to describe !
