La pente de la droite rouge vaut 0,0476 par diamètre de longueur des parties cylindriques (par radian et en référence à la section de ces parties cylindriques). Cette droite rouge linéarise le comportement des corps avec ogive hémisphérique et ogive gothique tangente d'élancement .
On note que la courbe du corps à tête plate (marques carrées jaunes) a une pente plus forte que les courbes des ogives hémisphérique et gothique tangente d'élancement 1.
La courbe à marques carrées oranges à hampe reflète le comportement de corps à tête plate dont l'arête frontale n'est plus vive (comme pour la tête plate à strictement parler) mais plus ou moins arrondies...
Le comportement des corps à tête plate de faibles élancements est très particulier. Les négatifs leur promettent une stabilité (au moins statique).
