English: Porth Sawsen beach. Identified as Porth Saxon on the OS map but known locally as Porth Sawsen, this beach lies at the foot of the beautiful Carwinion Valley, a sheltered southerly facing valley which contains many sub-tropical plants which have self-set from the gardens of Carwinion House. Snow is a great rarity in this location and there had been a snowfall of about 50mm on the previous day. |
